DUTIES: Store Manager with a Filipino Specialty Supermarket. Ensures effective implementation of company business plans, and attain financial projections, meet or exceed budget, and promote sales growth. Monitor popularity of products to ensure appropriate stock orders. Monitor all departments' purchase orders to ensure optimum sales. Oversee implementation or policies, procedures, standards, training programs. Achieve employee development, sales, service and quality objectives. Responsible for supervisory ad professional staff development. Prepare required compliance documentation. Monitor weekly cash flow budge. Ensure weekly schedules meet labor cost target. Strong knowledge of all relevant company policies regarding personnel. Administer prompt, fair ad consistent action for all violations of company policies, rules and procedures. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s in Business Administration (foreign equivalent acceptable)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 2 years

POSITION: Area Manager

DUTIES: Area manager of a Filipino specialty supermarket. Responsible for the entire operations of all departments of all stores in the designated Area. Ensure effective implementation of company business plans, attain financial projections, meet or exceed budget goals, promote sales growth, and maintain the company’s reputation for excellent customer service and quality products. Manage the overall financial performance of the assigned area by analyzing and reconciling financial reports; determining trends and areas of opportunity to enhance sales and profit for the region; and advising others on cost control methods. Responsible for the selection and termination of store Managers. Oversee the performance of the entire store management team to achieve desired results in support of the business. Enhance the professional development of all store managers through consistent coaching and training to maximize capability and effectiveness as store managers in performing targeted responsibilities and accountabilities. Oversee the implementation of product marketing strategies including sales promotions and new product launches. Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper compliance with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor. Maintain in-depth understanding of customer’s needs, monitor competitive market activities in the area, and develop and implement strategies to counter competitors. Report to the operations division manager. Responsible for a staff of more than 700 employees and directly supervise nine (9) store managers.
